![]() ![]() Design MSMC/JVPC equipped with BEL Trinetra reflex sight The AWEIL-made JVPC was displayed in public at the DSEI 2023 convention in the UK. The JVPC is currently being procured for the CAPF. In 2017, the then Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh ceremonially accepted a JVPC from the then Minister of Defence Nirmala Sitharaman, marking its service induction into the CAPF, Paramilitary forces and Police forces under the Ministry of Home affairs. The JVPC was earlier cleared user trials by CAPF. The final user trials were conducted at the sub-zero cold desert of Ladakh. The JVPC was subjected to accuracy and reliability test at extreme temperature conditions of India. The user trials by Indian Army commenced in 2016 and completed by 2021. Also in this time period an exigency for a carbine has arisen. The prototypes of JVPC was offered to the Army for user trials in 2013. The redesigned MSMC was now redesignated as Joint Venture Protective Carbine or JVPC. In 2010, DRDO's ARDE lab and OFB collaborated to iron out the problems with the MSMC design. Both of the carbines failed to meet the requirement set by the Army. The prototypes underwent a series of trials – first in 2006, then in late 2007 and finally in early 2009. īoth carbines were designed to chamber much lighter 5.56×30mm MINSAS cartridge. In response to the new GSQR, both OFB and ARDE independently developed two carbines – Amogh carbine and MSMC respectively. In 2002, the Army has issued a General Staff Qualitative Requirement (GSQR) for a new submachine carbine with revised specification. The INSAS based carbine was designed to chamber the same 5.56×45mm NATO cartridge used in the INSAS assault rifle and the LMG, hence it had a higher recoil than a carbine of its size should normally have. An INSAS based carbine said to have been developed in early 2000s, but was rejected. The development of a carbine was one of the objectives of the late 1980's Indian Small Arms System (INSAS) programme, which developed the INSAS assault rifle. The JVPC already cleared user trials conducted by Ministry of Home Affairs and is currently being procured for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and other state police forces in the country. The weapon's accuracy and reliability were tested in extreme hot weather and high-altitude winter conditions, by the Army's user trials. The JVPC cleared the final phase of user trials by the Indian Army. Its trials were commenced in 2016 and completed in 2021. The development of the JVPC began in 2010, being an offshoot of the INSAS small arms program. It was intended as a replacement for the 9mm Sterling submachine gun in service with the Indian Armed Forces. It was designed by the Armament Research and Development Establishment of the Defence Research and Development Organisation, and manufactured by Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited and by Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited. Q: Does this protection work against hexes, curses and forms of magick from other countries and cultures. If this type of worsening happens within a few days of your ritual, take it as a good sign, and either repeat or continue the magick, knowing that when people react in this way it means they are closed to having their oppressive power taken away from them. Although it’s difficult to see this as a good sign, it can genuinely be a sign that the magick is working well. This isn’t usually the case – most of the time the magick just works -but when there is a particularly stubborn, evil or wilful person who is intent on keeping power or control over you, they may sense the magick weakening them (without knowing it’s magick) and retaliate or resist. This is very powerful magick, but if you were trying to stop a particular individual, or even a group, from harming you, there can sometimes be resistance, and the resistance can manifest as more insults, attacks, worse tempers and other displays of inner turmoil. Q: Things got worse after I started the magick? Did it go wrong?Ī: Probably not. You will get better results from all your magick if you use Magickal Protection. If anything, banishing and protection rituals clear out the spiritual and psychic dross, and make your magick powers more intense. Q: Will these banishings frighten off the spirits from my other magick?Ī: No. In this book, the combined powers of the Genius Spirits are used to pass angelic power into the working. People who have actually used the magick report real and lasting results, so don’t let armchair occultists put you off. When you actually look at the texts referencing these spirits, and work with good translations, their nature is clear what you get in Magickal Protection is safe. Genius Spirits are not angels, but we believe they are an embodiment or expression of angelic power they personify the virtues of angels in the form of unique spirits, and these spirits have specific natures and powers that are not always obvious. If you’re paranoid, you see the phrase ‘genius spirit’ and assume it’s an evil djinn. ![]() (This was made known to European readers through a French translation by Eliphas Levi in his 1897 book Transcendental Magic, which was eventually translated to English by A.E. It is all too easy to assume that that ‘genius’ is the same as ‘genie’ because it sounds similar genies are also known as ‘djinn’ or ‘jinn’, and can be evil. These genius spirits, which can be thought of as ‘personified virtues’, are known as The Genii of the Twelve Hours, and are described in the Nuctemeron, attributed to Apollonius of Tyana from the First Century AD. The Master Protection ritual calls on the Genius Spirits which are neither angel or demon, and this has confused some people. Is this true?Ī: No, of course not, but there will always be people who spread disinformation to scare you away from practical magick. The protection is entirely sound, but do make sure you add in the ritual that deals with bullies directly. Any claim to have broken through this protection is meant to undermine you with fear. ![]() If they were using powerful magick, they wouldn’t need to boast or threaten. They make you afraid by shouting loudly, but such people are usually very tame and quiet bad at magick. Is it possible?Ī: People like this have one great weapon and that is fear. You can still run it, but the company is no longer supporting it from my understanding, they closed their doors and went under. Now, with respect to using Phoenix RC, it is dead. For example, you don't have to trim out a simulator, but in real life? You most likely will. Now, some planes, they give you a feel for how they might realistically fly, but there are ALWAYS differences. they all have the same thing in common they allow you to get a feel of how to fly a plane. Realflight 6/7/8, Phoenix RC simulator, AeroFly RC 7/8, Liftoff, DRL, Velocidrone, etc. Am I making this harder than it needs to be, and should just go and get Real Flight, and the WS1000, and be done and flying?Ī sim is a sim is a sim. Is there a radio that would be recommended (that's inexpensive) that is good to use with the 22 in 1, assuming that Spektrum radios can't be used with Phoenix, without buying the hard to find (or expensive) used package of Phoenix with the DX6i? In that this would be the radio to buy, for the purpose of using this for almost nothing by the sims.ĥ. (aka: Is there a reason, none of the listings for the 22 to 1, don’t list Spektrum as a supported radio?)Ĥ. If Phoenix is a route to go to fly the FT’s (being I see people say the models are different in the sim, and I’m assuming in the air), and using my Radio is not an option with the 22 in 1, Can I use a DX6i radio without a problem, or is there a special cable needed that doesn't come with the 22 in 1. Is there any reason I wouldn't want to have both or shouldn’t be trying to limit myself to Phoenix to fly the FT’s? And should just focus on getting the one that will work with the radio I already have?ģ. Phoenix is also intriguing to me because of the FT's being able to be loaded into it. I'm pretty sure "Real Flight" is a good sim, and the Spektrum WS1000 will work with this. Is it of value to fly the actual model in a flight simulator, or is the value learning throttle control and the sticks?Ģ. My main goals (I believe) at this point are getting a version of Phoenix running, and getting a version of Real Flight 8 running.ġ. I know it isn’t with my Radio, but to keep this similar, I was willing to buy the 22 in 1, and a used DX6i (that has the training port). (aka: the 22 in 1 on and other sources, never once talk about Spektrum being a supported radio. On top of this, I'm confused (being I'm new and playing catch-up), to clearly understand if the 22 in 1 is compatible with Spektrum radios, without being a packaged set. Clearly I don't believe it's worth that much (or at least that was too much to me as that’s more than my radio with receiver). However I have only found one complete used package of this nature, for $450.00. I found where the DX6i was sold with the Phoenix software and cables, and clearly I have sources to purchase a new or used DX6i. So I kept looking for information about Spektrum radios, used with the phoenix software not only here but on the web. Now I’ve run across a PPM version for wireless (what above did themselves via a mod) but haven’t researched yet if I own, or can get a PPM receiver for my DX6i. As much as I'm intrigued by the ingenuity tied to this solution, I was hoping for something cleaner solution, however I’m not forgetting this as a possible solution. I did see where the USB dongle for the 22 in 1, can be wired up to a receiver (with the intent to make it wireless). However if I'm following the bouncing ball correctly, the WS1000 will work for my radio for simulators, but is not compatible with the Phoenix simulator. However again, as my luck runs, not the ones I own or am interested in at this time. I’ve also found that some of the FT foamies are in Real Flight 7.5 and later. Yet I’m not connecting all the dots to answer the questions feel are unanswered at this point. I’ve tried to read almost every thread tied to the FliteTest Forums. It would appear I'm coming into this a bit late (my timing is always off). I'm intrigued by the ability to fly my FT foam board planes in Phoenix RC. Pimax plan to ship out a variety of face foams to combat this in the future but as of now using a third party option was the only choice. Using a thicker face foam from VR Cover resolved this issue. This presented some distracting edge distortion which other users mention quite extensively. Initially using the default face foam meant our eyes were close to the lenses. All work as expected inside the Pimax 8K headset but a number of caveats reveal themselves. The games also sit alongside experiences such as Virtual Desktop, DeoPlayer for 2D/3D movie viewing and adult apps like VR Kanojo and SLR. Action and adventure games such as Chronos, Landfall, and plenty more playable with a gamepad ( a decent list here shows which VR games work with a gamepad). VR adventures like The Solus Project, Alice VR, Transference, Skyrim VR, Alien Isolation. Playing games and apps works well ranging from colourful platforming in Lucky’s Tale to sims such as Elite Dangerous and Project CARS 2. Launching games directly from Steam VR also works seamlessly. An automatic option based on past settings would work well here but isn’t available right now. Some settings such as Parallel Projection needs toggling on or off on a per game basis. We have all three installed and somehow, importing software into Pitools is easy and mostly works. Interestingly, the integration with the Pitool software, Steam VR and Oculus Store is pretty good. As a result some limitation on the types of VR content presents itself. So we’re using an Xbox One gamepad (in a seated environment) which works with quite a number of games and VR experiences. The Vive controllers work with the Pimax HMDs but prove to be costly when ordering from HTC. We also didn’t use any tracked controllers seeing as Pimax hasn’t released theirs yet – they are coming in Q3/Q4 in 2019. Initially we didn’t use our single HTC Vive base station (purchased separately for around £100) and relied on the internal gyroscopes for 3dof movement. Then install the Pimax Pitool software and firmware – although in our case the firmware was already up-to-date. Windows 10 recognizes the device immediately. Plug in the Display Port cable to the GPU which in our case is an RTX 2080 Ti, a single USB 3.0 and power adapter – yes you will need another wall plug socket for this. To begin, setting up the Pimax 8K is a simple process and generally works well. ![]() Although the latter has a challenger in the Samsung Odyssey+ which performs better in the SDE removal department although loses overall clarity as a result.
